Windows XP have Animated Feature that makes Windows XP looks beauty.. but in order to the beauty XP there is some sacrifice that has to make, that is the speed of windows is a little bit slow rather than if the Animated feature is turned off.. so, with turning off the Animate Feature in Windows XP, we can get a faster Windows XP.. ;)

so you can try the steps below

Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced (tab) > Performance Settings > Un-check “Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing
