Internet Explorer 8 is good, sophisticated and rich with features. But still, a lot of users choose to use alternative browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, Flocks, etc..
The step by Microsoft is very appropriate for not forcing users to use their browser. And of course the more users will choose Windows to remember if they use Windows, but they still can choose your favorite browser respectively.
The following easy steps is to uninstall Internet Explorer 8 from Windows (I use the Windows 7 Ultimate):
1. Click the Start menu
2. In the Search box typing 'Windows Features'
3. After Windows Feature box appears, Uncheck Internet Explorer, click yes
4. Then restart Windows.
With those steps, thats should Uninstall the Internet Explorer from Windows
